Sales Executive – Furniture

The Sales Executive will welcome and assist customers visiting the showroom and help them find furniture based on their preferences, style, and budget. The role requires knowledge of store inventory, promotional offers, and product features. Maintaining a clean and attractive display area, coordinating purchases, processing payments, and ensuring customer satisfaction after delivery are essential duties.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve monthly furniture sales targets.
  • Recommend products based on customer needs.
  • Maintain stock and product display at the showroom.
  • Coordinate delivery & payment processes.
  • Collect feedback and report to management.

Job Requirements:

  • Typically 1-3 years (or more) of retail sales experience; furniture or related home décor industry experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to engage walk-in customers, understand their requirements.
  • Good product knowledge or willingness to learn about furniture, materials, styles, dimensions, customer preferences.
  • Target-driven mindset: meet monthly sales targets, upsell, follow up.
  • Ability to maintain showroom presentation: clean display areas, organized stock, good merchandising.

Role Details:

  • Greet showroom visitors, engage them in conversation, understand their space, style, budget and needs; recommend suitable furniture options.
  • Demonstrate product features, show samples, explain financing (if offered), coordinate payments and delivery logistics.
  • Maintain records of enquiries, follow up with prospective customers, close deals.
  • Keep showroom presentable: stock display, cleanliness, visual merchandising, update promotions.
  • Report customer feedback, competitor products/pricing to store management; assist in inventory and showroom operations.
