In a public address at Narasaraopeta, MP Lavu Sri Krishna Devarayalu announced a major set of initiatives aimed at uplifting marginalised communities across the constituency. He committed to establishing multi-purpose community centres in several under-served mandals, offering skills training, digital literacy and health-screening services. The MP emphasised special focus on Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes and minority communities, ensuring they receive priority in the new measures. He also assured that funds from the Member of Parliament Local Area Development (MPLAD) scheme will be streamlined for local infrastructure such as community halls, girls’ hostels and sanitation blocks. As part of this promise, he announced a “Youth Empowerment & Inclusion Fund” targeting rural youth entrepreneurship, with the first wave of support to be rolled out within the next six months.
